I am a software developer and want to setup webhooks via my application with a http-call. But I get an error saying, I have to be a CDP-customer in order to setup webhooks. I am using a test account in Klaviyo. Is there way to do this? Is see in Billing, you can select CDP, but then have to pay for the services, while I am just using it for development.

Hi Oliver,

To set up webhooks in Klaviyo, you need access to their CDP (Customer Data Platform), which unfortunately isn’t included in test accounts. This is why you're encountering the error. The CDP subscription is required to use advanced features like webhooks, even during development.

If you're only testing, an alternative is to use Klaviyo's API to fetch data instead of setting up webhooks. While it’s not real-time like webhooks, it can still help simulate the workflow for development purposes.

If this sounds complex or you'd like a detailed walkthrough, feel free to reach out—I would be happy to guide you assist with the implementation!

Best regards,
Mansir
