Email size is often over 100 kb. Can the url-tracking-links be shorter?

Hello!

 

I have read the “why is my email being clipped” information. But our emails are usually a bit over 100 kb. We want to be able to use over 20 links. But with the tracking code one link will take around 1 kb (20 links = 20 kb). Is there some way to shorten the tracking parameter?

We have the exact same issue. 

Not sure why this is marked as solved.

After Contacting support Team, they confirmed this is not possible. Doesn’t matter if you use the shared klaviyo domain for tracking, or a custom tracking domain.

2 years after this questions was asked, the answer is still “no”.

the only solutions are:

  1. reduce the size of your email content
  2. do not use klaviyo tracking
  3. move to a different platform

Our emails are 30% bigger compared to our previous marketing campaign platform because of the super long tracking parameters Klaviyo generates, so we had to reduce the content of our emails a 30%

It’s a shame, because Klaviyo has the ability to shorten links on sms campaigns, they will just refuse to use it on email campaigns
