we are implemented an API for our custom ecommerce CMS. We started with the “Place Order” event, but are having some problems. The data goes through to Klaviyo, but comparing to Woocommerce integration, the structure and data display is pretty weird.

Thanks for sharing your question with the Klaviyo Community and providing those screenshots!
Taking a look at them they do appear to be displaying accurately for a custom Placed Order event. Since your event is custom, depending on your payload structure and the properties and values you are passing over, it may either include more or less data than what any of the default ecommerce placed order events are passing over. For example, it doesn’t appear like you are passing an ItemNames property, which most ecommerce integration does.
I would also suggest taking a look at both the Guide to Integrating a Standard Ecommerce Platform and Custom Integration FAQ Help Center articles which does provide an example payload of the Placed Order event.
