Your Questions, Answered

We received a ton of fantastic questions during the session, and Stefan has graciously followed up with responses. Checkout the questions and answers below:

  • We received a question from Jack Hov asking what he would need to do to have you look over his flows
    • He can reach out to stefan@undergroundecom.com with his query and I will do my best to set up a basic audit with actionable next steps
  • How often do you re-test your Smart Send?
    • In case of big changes to the brand or sending strategy, consider smart sending reset and you’d want to start from scratch. If you are running things regularly, once a quarter is good enough to either confirm your current practice or open up areas for further improvement.
  • For brands that sell in third party channels and have low conversions due to uncompetitive pricing on their own sites, is there a tactic Ai can assist with increasing conversions other then incentives via automations?
    • Cross selling based on products they’ve seen, as well as upselling (using Klaviyo’s AI generated product recommendations block) are a great way to increase AOV and direct attention.
  • We have both our own manufactured product and resell other brands’ products related to our industry (fun behind a boat). This is how we have cross-sell. How do you use AI to determine who bought one certain item to then predict what message they should receive for the next product?
    • If the products are all listed on your website, AI should be able to pick up customer behavior and learn from it. If they are hosted on different websites, I’m afraid it’s not possible to do what you want to do.
  • Can you please share here the link to how to access the AI sentiment analysis Stefan is talking about?
    • I believe the Klaviyo team will be sharing this one
  • Can we get instructions on how to use AI to understand which segments to create/target for BFCM? And how to use AI for what types of flows or campaigns we should be creating to target these segments?
    • Happy to organize a follow up workshop on how to make this happen

 

 


 

General Klaviyo questions 

  • Does anyone have a blueprint on a MIRO board on what features we should have and what hygiene to have? (segments etc)
  • When speaking of prompts, where are these prompts being inputted? Like ChatGPT, or on Klaviyo?
    • You will input your prompts into Klaviyo directly (look for the purple AI button), but you can use ChatGPT to distill an effective prompt for Klaviyo
  • If your product is banned via SMS, how can we adjust campaigns using Ai to pick up where SMS would've helped
    • You can use text-only emails in lieu of text messages, just keep them short and clear and you will achieve a very similar effect to what SMS would do.
  • Can I get predictive analytics in Klaviyo?
    • There are some conditions before PA is enabled in Klaviyo, including a certain number of repeat purchases on a profile level before the analytics are triggered. If you have a lot of one time purchasers, PA is not going to work for your account.
  • What are some list growth strategies (High ticket jewelry)
    • Divide your customers into bouncers and converters. For converters, auto apply the discount at checkout and don’t give them any popups. For bouncers, set up an exit intent popup on the main page with an exit intent flow which delivers the main discount (which is normally auto applied), and then exit intent popups + flows for bestseller pages with appropriate incentives.
