Klaviyo is unable to connect to Magento Server for OAuth Handshake.

The issue was I was using a private IP for testing, so the error came: Klaviyo is unable to connect to Magento Server for OAuth Handshake.Url tried was: NonePlease ensure that both /oauth/token/request and /oauth/token/accessare accessible So I changed to public IP, it worked! Hi can you tell me where i need to  be change the public ip in magento klaviyo extension @Sunil_1999  I am not sure I am following your inquiry.  Magento Integration will only work with a Magento instance on a public IP why would you need to change anything in the magento klaviyo extension if its installed on a magento with a public ip?

Unable to integrate Klaviyo with Magento 2.4.3

Based on what I see from the screenshots there is a positive sign that Oauth handshake worked so now we need to determine why api calls did not. The entry under Integrations in Magento 2 should show up as active.  Could you click on Edit then scroll down to Integration Details and from the 4 values you see like below:  and try executing the curl command like below:curl --location --request GET '[hostname]/index.php/rest/V1/categories' \--header 'Authorization: Bearer [access token]'Does that return a 200 JSON response? If not then attempt it like below:curl --location --request GET '[hostname]/rest/V1/categories' \--header 'Authorization: Bearer [access token]'If this works but the first call didn’t it means you need to add ReWrite Rules to your server like below:RewriteRule ^index.php/rest/(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/rest/$1 [L,R=301]Hope this helps.

@AttainDigital is the 404 error page you are seeing like what is described in the link below:https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-auth-wordpress-url-fail-in-status/ ?Please make sure permalinks are enabled. Woocom auth doesn't work otherwise

How to change from real-time to batch updates for WooCommerce Integration

@lex_zap apologies that real time syncs from Klaviyo are causing issues.  This would be caused by webhooks and it is something you can control from Woocommerce by navigating to the advanced setting  and deleting the ones pertaining to klaviyo urls. However it is not something we recommend.  Without webhooks Klaviyo still syncs by means of periodic syncs that run hourly.  So would potentially experience a delay in the recording of order events or updates to products. Let me know if you have further questions.

@jpwest again I would defer to making this a support request.  Its very specific question tied to your setup.  We would need to find out how they are defined in your Salesforce Commerce Cloud instance and if they could be exposed in the Klaviyo events.

@jpwest Ok I could see that you are referring to the Order Confirmation event.  When you are refer to payment method you mean something like this:"Card Type": "Visa",and if you are having trouble adding generic text to the flow emails, a member of support can assist you with this.  The way to contact support is via this link

@jpwest could you clarify specifically what data you are trying to show?  Is it a fleld or property not exposed currently for the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Placed Order events?

Add total TAX to Placed Order?

Hi Henrik,I am presuming this is custom Placed order events not something coming from a supported integration.I assume too that you have access to the source code creating these custom events.You can surely add a new TotalVAT sub-property under properties and it will start to appear for new events after you made this change.Hope this helps.Regards,Jad

Why am I seeing an Invalid WSDL file at domain message when integrating with Magento?

@snyderm after further research the engineers have determined that the parser was throwing the error because our app was receiving an empty response when fetching the wsdl file.  It must be that the nginx server is returning an empty response when Klaviyo is trying to connect using the user agent 'Klaviyo/1.0".  It seems that it works fine for other user agents including postman but not for our app's user agent.

@snyderm we received new feedback from engineers regarding this error They are stating that the issue is something with the client's xml.  We ran it through a validator and got some errors so that might be helpful:  Result: WSDL OrderPriority: ERRORDescription:WSDL elements should be placed in the correct order so that tools can handle the WSDL file correctly.The structure of your WSDL is:types (1)message (12)portType (1)binding (1)service (1)message (324)But should be:typesmessagesportTypesbindingsservices hope this helps.

How to stop woocommerce historical sync?

@Akathma when you save the Integration Settings Form in Klaviyo it starts the one-time historical sync and sets jobs that run hourly to sync data.With the help of support you can halt the historical sync and keep the other syncs still running.  Its not something you could do with the plugin.  The plugin itself only provides supplementary api endpoints Klaviyo needs as well as snippets on the live woocommerce pages like Active on Site and Viewed Product events.

How to stop woocommerce historical sync?

@Akathma unfortunately this capability is not possible at this time.  If historical sync was not run, we could only control the date range for orders to sync assuming you would have periodic sync that will keep running for the duration of the integration to keep synching recent data.  We cannot set controls on the amount of contacts synched by the integration.

@snyderm.   if you were to append to the your server url /index.php/api/v2_soap?wsdl=1  does it generate a valid WSDL file?Alternatively you can plug the url onto site https://gigabook.com/blog/free-wsdl-validator/ to check

@Laeubinl I work for Klaviyo Support and not sure if your issue is the same as JDhere.  Have you been trying this from a local virtual environment?  If so unfortunately you cannot integrate with Klaviyo.  If not, I would like to suggest that you follow protocol to contact support as documented here as we will need to get further details from you.

@gurdeep for the JSON output of the first call did you notice a “next” field with a value?  You use that for the subsequent call for since.

Webhooks for Custom integrations

Hi @DavidSandel regarding what happens in Zapier.  Do you know how soon after the Identify call the Track call is made?You see the effect of Identify calls is not immediate and there is another form of the identify call with a callback implemented as below that would ensure identify is made before calling the track command:function onIdentifyCompleteCallback () { _learnq.track("Neat Event");}_learnq.identify(identityProperties, undefined, undefined, onIdentifyCompleteCallback) Let me know if you have any questions.
