I had an old email address that I no longer needed, so when I received a renewal notice for the Outlook subscription, I canceled the email account. However, I forgot that this email was linked to my Klaviyo account. When I tried to log in, Klaviyo sent a verification code to my old address, leaving me locked out. I reached out to Klaviyo support, explained the situation, and followed all their instructions—creating a custom URL, providing campaign screenshots, and more. Despite my efforts, they claimed the information didn’t match their records, suggesting that I either reactivate the old email or create a new account. For those using Klaviyo, be sure to update any old email addresses on the platform before canceling them; otherwise, regaining access may be incredibly challenging. While I respect Klaviyo’s responsibility to protect user accounts, it’s frustrating to follow their steps and still be denied access to your own account. Yes I think Klaviyo is an excellent solution but unfortunately, their policies and support isn’t up to standard at all. What a shame.
