I would lile to request customers using live chat to add their email address and check a box to receive marketing. The live chat software we use is tawk.to

Thanks for being a part of Community! Although we do not have a built-in integration with talk.to, there are a number of third party integrations that function as intermediaries for sending data between platforms. One such integration is Zapier. While I cannot guarantee that Zapier will be able to achieve this that is the first place I would start. If this sync is not possible through Zapier you always have the ability to create custom metrics and/or pass in custom properties using Klaviyo's API. The following resources will help you to achieve this if you have access to a developer.

I have managed to add in the ‘pre chat’ and option to sign up for news letter and then each day search in our crm for any chatters who take this option. The emails then need to be added to list, not a lot of work to be honest.
