Hey @Cornybln
For the bot subscribers, you can Create a segment for legitimate subscribers and exclude suspected bot profiles. so basically look for any patterns like all the domains have @qq.com in them for example, so you can create a segment » properties about someone » email » contains» qq.com and this will populate all your bot emails and then you can exclude this segment from all the campaigns. for flows you can add this condition in your flow filters so that they dont enter the flow.
apart from that When downgrading from a paid Klaviyo plan to the free plan, access to certain features becomes restricted. This includes advanced customisation options, integrations, and more. The free plan allows up to 500 active profiles. If bot emails are increasing your profile count, it could restrict other functions.
Also On the free plan, you can reduce your profile count by manually identifying and deleting bot emails: Export Your Profiles: Go to segment/List, export it, and suppress list by going into “Profiles” » “Manage Suppressed profiles”
but yes, a paid plan definitely helps with your email marketing efforts and klaviyo is the best there is out there.
I hope this helps and thank you for sharing your question here in the community.
Cheers
Arpit
Thanks for the profound answer. Switching back to the free plan comes sadly with a lot of headache all my flows for a review for example are disabled and i cant switch them back to enabled.
Any idea what to do?
