Hi @Stephaniew, welcome to the community.  It sounds like you’re a new Klaviyo Partner, so I’m glad to see you here participating in the community.

The Attributed Agency MRR is the aggregate of all your referred Klaviyo accounts monthly revenue.  So if you referred 3 Klaviyo accounts, that activated and pay Klaviyo $100 each, your total attributed MRR is $300.

Make sure to “Register a Lead” for anyone that you refer to Klaviyo, or have them signup via your Partner Referral Link in the partner portal so they are accurately reflected to you (or your agency).  You can do that in the Klaviyo Partner Portal.

Hey @Stephaniew

This is quite a broad question but to address general points on increasing MRR as an email marketing agency,

I would say 4 things

  1. Upselling opportunities -

Use customer data to find opportunities to sell more. If customers are reaching their limits, suggest upgrades. If they need help with certain tasks, recommend related services. This tailored approach builds trust and shows you're here to help, not just sell.

Share success stories and testimonials to prove the value of higher tiers or extras. When customers see others benefiting, they're more likely to consider these options themselves. This 'social proof' is really effective!

Keep innovating instead of staying comfortable. Listen to customer feedback and add features that solve their problems. By offering new and improved options, you'll keep customers interested and boost your product's appeal."

This version simplifies the original message while retaining its core ideas about leveraging data, building trust through personalization, and the importance of continuous innovation.

  2. Reducing Churn Rate -

You need effective retention strategies to reduce the churn rate in a serviced based business like email marketing. The two most successful are:

    • Offer personalized onboarding experiences and proactive customer support to enhance user satisfaction
    • Provide regular product updates and new features to keep customers engaged and interested
    • Customer feedback loops are vital for churn rate reduction. Actively request feedback through surveys, user interviews, and monitoring social media. Examine this feedback to identify pain points and areas for improvement. Use insights gained to tailor products and services to meet customer needs and reduce churn.
  1. Customer Retention Strategies -

Building strong relationships with clients is really important. It helps them stay happy and keeps your business growing.

When clients are satisfied and engaged, they're more likely to stay and keep paying you every month. This steady income growth, known as MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue), is better than always chasing new clients to replace the ones who leave. Focus on keeping your current clients happy to maintain stable and predictable revenue.

  2. Pricing Optimization for Upselling -

"Pricing strategies are crucial for encouraging clients to upgrade and boosting revenue. By adjusting prices strategically, businesses can attract clients to higher-tier options, increasing their monthly and yearly earnings.

For example, if a software company introduces a new mid-level package at a slightly higher price, current clients might choose to upgrade. They'd get more features and value, which could lead to higher spending. This structured approach not only enhances client experience but also boosts revenue potential." The same goes for service based business like email marketing.

You probably might know a lot of these things, but if not I hope this helps. Let me know your thoughts.

Best,
Arpit
