If you had just 2hrs to add some optimisations to email on your Klaviyo account, what high priority tasks would you recommend for the best impact on revenue?

Hi @sep206

Here would be my top 5 🤗

  1. CTA’s - make sure these are visible on every send and they go through to the relevant PLP, nothing creates a more frustrating user journey than this.
  2. Product blocks - Again using these to reduce the friction between email and site, making it as easy to shop as possible.
  3. Cross sell - Always try and cross sell your product range to increase AOV and revenue.
  4. Engagement - Ensure you are sending to engaged customers (i would segment these as opened email, clicked email or placed order in the last X days dependant on your brand).
  5. Personalisation - Adding customer data in can really draw a person in, whether it’s first name, location, purchase behaviour. As simple as a call out in the subject line can really grab attention!

Hope these help!

Hi @sep206

This is a fantastic and fun question to ask in the Community!

In addition to @alexratcliff comment, my recommendation would be Segmentation! Getting your segmentation right is key to deliverability and engagement, so making sure your segments are set right and you’re sending to the right segments at the right time can make a huge difference.

I wonder if any of the other Community Champions have their thoughts to share?

Hi @sep206,

Thanks for the tag @Kylie W - what a great question!

Love the 2 answers above - for me personally and with only 2 hours to spend I would focus on building out as many Flows as possible.

If you create evergreen flows such as Abandon Cart, Browse Abandonment, Welcome Series, Post-purchase & Winback, these will continue to drive revenue for you once set up. Klaviyo comes pre-built with a large library of flows to get you started.

There’s a great article on this on the help centre - Getting started with flows.

Hope that helps!

Thanks
David
