Hi there!

We’re working on improving email deliverability. We’ve noticed our emails are consistently landing in junk on Outlook, despite all users being ‘Subscribed’.

Any ideas why this may be happening? Has anyone else faced this issue?

All help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @MoB

Being subscribed to emails doesn’t mean emails will land into inbox… Outlook filters are quite strict and most of the times behave weird.

Have you changed your segmentation strategy or sending practices, any sort of anomaly in the metrics for outlook users like spikes in the soft bounces or rise in the spam complaints… look for data and see what are you able to find out and accordingly optimize your sends for outlook domains.

Hi ,

We have faced the same issue couple of months back to resolve this you only have limited options.

First try to create a separate segment for outlook user and send twice a week a campaign.

Secondly try to lot of A/B testing mainly on Subject line(Don’t use discount,Sale, off and other spam words) and CTA position

Lastly and most important list cleaning. Regularly clean be it on basis of bounced email and open/click-Don’t keep the profile who is not engaging with your mail.

Note-Make sure your Domain have DMARC,SPF,DKIM and try to keep spam rate low.

Let me know if this work for you😊!
