Hello why it keeps showing this to our emails?

We use a sub domain: www.mysite.store connected to our Klaviyo but we set-up our Dedicated sending domain using our main domain: www.mysite.org. How to fix this?

Hi @thepowerofcopy

It looks like domain misalignment and authentication related issues.

Here’s what Klaviyo recommends:

Root domain: mysite.org

Sending domain: send.mysite.org

So, basically, with send.mysite.org sending domain:

  • the emails DKIM signed using mysite.org using the signatures present on the kl._domainkey.mysite.org and kl2._domainkey.mysite.org respectively, in rotation.
  • the SPF authentication being handled by send.mysite.org using the SPF record present on that subdomain, which also serves as the return path address.

Can you send a screenshot of domains setup in your Klaviyo account and also send a test email to ceo@inboxingmaestro.com to review the headers?

Regards,

Mohsin

Hello @inboxingmaestro,

Thanks for helping me.

This mean we need to set up the Dedicated sending domain, the domain that is connected to Shopify. Sent you a preview mail

Yes! I believe the root domain is the one that’s connected to Shopify and website is hosted on the same. The dedicated sending domain will be a subdomain of the root domain like send.mysite.org.

Please reach out to Klaviyo support team and team should be able to help you re-setup the things.

In case you’ve any questions further or need any help, feel free to reach out.

Regards,

Mohsin
