Hi @nerdwithus2 - welcome to the Klaviyo Community!
I’m sorry to hear that happened, what a frustrating experience to have right as you get started with Klaviyo. This isn’t something I’ve seen happen before with any of my clients, so I’m looping in the Klaviyo Community team here - maybe they know more about what may have caused this. @stephen.trumble @chloe.strange @kaila.lawrence
Have you sent an email or chat message to Klaviyo support yet? They’ll be able to examine your account and identify if there’s something that went awry in the script installation that may have contributed to that…
Best of luck!
Gabrielle
Thanks @ebusiness pros,
I reached out to Chubbies Shorts (one of the lists i was subscribed to). They use Klaviyo and i’m hoping to talk w/ their CIO to understand what our email address’s consent attributes contain.
I’m not even done onboarding yet and don’t have. CSM so i reached out to my sales rep and onboarding specialist. as well.
Any additional help / context / soothing folks could provide would be great. I’m looking to understand this problem and prevent it happening in the future.
Hey @nerdwithus2 - sounds like you’ve already taken the best steps you could!
While I don’t have an exact answer for what caused this, I can reassure you now with this: what you experienced is a rare, unusual thing and not at all part of the normal Klaviyo user experience. I’d keep an eye on your inbox and see what your CSM and onboarding specialist have to say - they can loop in Klaviyo support as well if needed.
Do you have any other questions about getting started with Klaviyo that I might be able to help point you in the right direction with now?
Gabrielle
Hi @nerdwithus2,
I see you’ve opened a support ticket for this - that will be a good next step for them to dig deeper into what occurred - you’re in good hands!
