Hi guys,

Asking for some advise here. We have abandoned cart and abandoned checkout flows setup for our customers. Are there any suitable time frames to be used for the waiting time before sending out the abandoned cart emails / abandoned checkout emails?

At one point when we were testing, we gotten multiple emails from both flows at the same time, which could be a hassle to customer if they receive multiple emails. is there any solution that is advisable for this? Thank you so much!

we usually give them 1 hour before they receive their first email from abandoned cart flow. Apart from this you need to make sure they are not in the flow multiple times in a week or a month. we usually only send emails from abandoned cart flows once a month and you can use “Has not been in the flow in the last 30 days” 

 

With that being said, it is very important that your profiles are not in multiple flows at the same time, you will have to prioritize, which one they should receive first, if you have multiple abandoned cart flows, you can need to add relevant flow filters in each flow - something like - received emails zero times in the last 4 hours (X hours) from *that other abandoned cart” flow.
