Hello, I’m working with some HTML code instead of the Klaviyo template builder and I’m attempting to add a dynamic content block image / product title that pulls through when a user has abandoned their cart with the item.

The store operates on Shopify, so will I be inputting the event variables below in the code?

Look forward to your response

Hi @HaydenD and welcome to the Community!

May I ask how/where you are generating the HTML? You can certainly add these event variables in an HTML email that’s sent through Klaviyo. However, if you are sending this email through an external source, the event variables would not be able to substitute the event data that they are intended to retrieve from Klaviyo.

So if you just mean that you’re writing the email within Klaviyo in HTML instead of the drag-and-drop method, then you will certainly be able to use these event variables.

I hope this helps, and thanks for using the Community!
