How can I prevent browse, cart, and checkout abandonment emails from being sent multiple times or all at once to a single customer? Also, if we have new customers who abandon their browse, cart, or checkout, will they receive both the welcome flow and these abandonment emails? We are using Woocommerce.

To stop people from receiving multiple emails in a short period of time in Abandoned Cart, Added to Cart or Browse Abandonment flow it is recommended that you add a filter

  • Has not been in this flow in the last 30 days

As for the Welcome flow and any of these other flows and if people will receive both that also depends from the filters in the Welcome flow.

If you don’t want people to receive Welcome emails if they are in any of the 3 other flows you will need to add filters to the welcome flow

  • started checkout zero times since starting this flow
  • added to cart zero times since starting this flow
  • viewed product zero times since starting this flow

Or if you want the Welcome flow to be priority you can add one filter to the 3 other flows

  • received email zero times in the last 10 days where flow is welcome flow
