Hi. We have a client that has a contact form that when submitted sends out an email that needs to be in plain text for the clients software. However we have came across an issue that we don’t want this email to go to the customer just the supplier.

We can’t use notification action as it isn’t in plain text format. Any help with this would be appreciated

Hey @andBeyond

Welcome to the community and congrats on your first post!

Just a couple quick questions first, are you sending campaigns or flow to your suppliers? How do you differentiate between customers and suppliers on your form? You can use that profile property that gets added when the form is submitted as a flow filter to only show to specific people, or if you are sending campaigns you can use the profile property to build a segment that you send the campaigns to.

Let me know a little more details and we can help you get this accomplished!

Hi basically the customer fills in a form that just has information that only the supplier needs we don’t have a flow filter only when the customer fills out the form and submits we send an event metric to the customer profile which we have a flow that picks that up and send an email which in this case gets sent to the customer and which we CC the suppliers in. If we can find a way to not have this go to a customer and have the supplier as the main recipient

Hey @andBeyond

Sorry for the delayed response, had to do some digging to try and find the best answer for your.

The best option would be to use a third party app that connects with klaviyo to take the necessary data and sends it to the supplier, removing the customer email from the equation. This is a popular solution for brands who do drop shipments and need to send order info a fulfillment center. You can find all of the Klaviyo native integrations in the integrations library that best suits your needs.

Hope this helps!

@andBeyond maybe using the webhook functionality might be the best option here. Rather than doing this through email use the webhook to send all the right information to the right place.

I would not want to use email for such a functionality.
