Hello everyone, I have a new product list and it keep growing until the product launch.

In this progress, I have 4 different contents to sent to the profiles in this list.

I want to send the email every 7 days, so it should take 28 days to send out these contents.

I set a flow and the trigger is “when people subscribed to the list”, the first email he will receive a welcome email with the product price and available time, for the second email I set the time delay 7 days, and he will receive another email about the product.

For the third email I set the time delay 7 days, but it won’t send the email to the profile, why? I check the recipent and there is zero profile waiting to send.

Should this time delay be” 7 days for the first email, 14 days for the second email, 21 days for the third email and 28 days for the fourth email?”  I initially thought that after the first 7-day email was sent, I would wait 7 days to send the third email, and wait 7 days to send the fourth email.

Please help to confim which one is correct?

Hi @Lily513 ,

Thank you for sharing the query in the community!

Addressing the Issue with the Third Email

If the third email is not being sent and you see zero profiles waiting, it could be due to a few reasons:

  1. Incorrect Time Delay Setting: Ensure the delay for the third email is set relative to the previous email, not as a fixed delay from the subscription date.

  2. Email Flow Activation: Verify that the email flow is active and that there are no errors or pauses in the flow.

  3. Recipient Status: Confirm that the recipients have received the first and second emails as expected. If there are issues with these emails, it could affect the subsequent ones.

  4. Profile Eligibility: Ensure that the profiles are still eligible to receive the third email. If a profile has already received the second email, they should be in the correct status to receive the third one.

Correct Timing Approach

To ensure the emails are sent out over a 28-day period with each email spaced 7 days apart, use the following setup:

  1. Day 0: First email (immediate after subscription)
  2. Day 7: Second email
  3. Day 14: Third email
  4. Day 21: Fourth email

This setup will send each email exactly 7 days apart, fitting within your desired 28-day window. Ensure that the email flow is correctly configured and active to resolve the issue with the third email.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Disha,

So I think this flow is correct, right? Please check the time delay in the picture.

Hi @Lily513,

Just looking at your screenshot, your spacing will change from 7 to 14 to 21 days between emails.

So in your instance, your flow should look like this:

This means they receive one email straight away, receive the next 7 days later and so on. The wait steps are relative to the previous email (or action) in the flow.

I hope that clarifies!

Thanks
David

Hi @Lily513 ,

Thank you for sharing the flow screenshot!

As per the requirement, the correct delay timing should be as follows:

  1. First Email: Send immediately after subscription.
  2. Second Email: Delay of 7 days after the first email.
  3. Third Email: Delay of 7 days after the second email.
  4. Fourth Email: Delay of 7 days after the third email.

Thank you everyone, I will correct it right now.
