Hi!

I haven’t set my welcome series to be live, but some people have subscribed already. Will those people get my emails from the welcome series as soon as I push it live?

When you set it live you have the option to ‘back populate’ the flow and if you do so then customers will start to receive the welcome series as if it had been live when they signed up.

I just pushed it live and got this message: “Backpopulate FailedFlows with dynamic coupons can't be back-populated.”

 

Does that mean none of my customers who added their emails before I pushed it live will have the coupon?

This might work for already existing customers before you created the flow. 

  • Add all the customers who subscribed to list before the date the flow was created. 
  • download the segment
  • create new list
  • clone your welcome series and use the new list as the trigger. 
  • Make the flow the flow live and ready and then upload the people that you downloaded from the segment into the new list. 
    And boom!! they receive the welcome series emails.
