When someone enters my abandoned cart flow and they do not make a purchase, they will get their first email after an hour. 23 hours later they will receive a second email and so on.

My question is: how can I remove someone from the flow if they themselves deleted items from their cart. For example, the person is added to the flow, they don’t make a purchase, and they receive the first email. After that email they decide to go to their cart and remove all of their items. After that they shouldn’t receive the second email but they do.

What kind of profile filters or conditional split do I need to add in order to avoid sending the second email?

Klaviyo doesn’t record any items that has been removed but only items added.

So the only solution would be to record any change made in the cart. In this case you would need to create a script with the help of a developer.
