Hi,

In the newest rollout for editing text in the drag and drop editor, it’s become unusable in Firefox. I’ve updated my browser, logged out and back in, quit, restarted both the browser and my machine, and still when I click on a text block to edit it I often get no option to edit it at all (Mac Sonoma 14.5, Firefox 128.0.3). In addition, I’ve not been able to use this feature at all on mobile which is not the end of the world, but has often been convenient in the past if I’ve needed to make a quick edit to something on the go.

I can use Chrome and it works, however, I prefer not to use Chrome for a variety of reasons.

In addition, I get a lot of glitches with saving where when I go to exit I get a prompt from my browser about leaving the page because the content hasn’t been saved. This never happened to me on prior versions of the editor which leads me to believe that saving templates has changed for the worse.

Anyone else seeing these kinds of issues?

Thanks,

Cory

Hey @coryalansmith! I’m really sorry to hear about that. I’m not aware of any known issues related to this. Can you please log out of Klaviyo, clear and your cache and cookies, and then try again? Let me know if that helps.

@coryalansmith That prompt triggers very often on chrome, pretty much each time I use the editor actually, but it was already the case before the new text editor rollout, but it’s worse now. So I’m affraid it’s not firefox-related (but I feel you, it’s very annoying)

Hey @coryalansmith & @Gutsu-

To follow in line with Kaila, Im sorry you are having difficulties with the editor. I know you prefer to use Firefox for a number of reasons but we do actually recommend using Chrome for the best user experience.  Also, making sure to fully log out of each session when you are done will help with issues related to this.
