Hi all, I’ve been working with Klaviyo for over 3 years now and deal with quite extensive flows. Every now and then a flow needs a full update of templates, which takes me ages due to the amount of clicks it takes to add a new template.

Have the devs ever considered adding a shortcut for adding / changing templates in flows?

If devs are reading this, please consider. It would save so much time on large scale.

Thanks

V

Hi @Vindo,

Curious if you’ve already explored Klaviyo’s universal content feature in the template editor?

It would be most useful for updating any repetitively-used blocks (e.g. headers, footers, value props or review sections etc.). You would only need to update them in one location and it’d take effect across all flow messages that contain that universal block.

If it’s the message content or styling that you’re updating across messages (e.g. swapping out copy, images, or adjusting formatting), that typically does require individual message-level edits. However, there are probably ways that you could get creative with universal blocks to build out templated components to cut down on this time.

If you’d like to share more details or examples of the flow message-level updates you’re performing, and the solution(s) you have in mind, that might help the Klaviyo team if/when reviewing the feedback for product improvement.

Cheers,
Bobby

Hey Bobby, yes I’ve been working with this for a long time but that doesn’t solve my problem.

My point is to easily select a new template in a flow without having to click 5 times. Even better, staying in the flow. It’s just too time consuming.
