Subscription email

I am new to Klaviyo. I have created a workflow which is triggered by a from submission from Typeform. I want to send an email when the form is submitted, but instead Klaviyo is sending a subscription email to the person who submitted the form. I don’t seem to see where I can remove this email. My workflow only triggers when they press the ‘Yes I want to subscribe’ button from the Klaviyo email ( which is showing it has been sent by me, company name and email). I don’t want that. How do I get rid of this?

Thanks for your question in the community.

Do you mean they are getting a ‘confirm your subscription’ email?

If so, this is triggered because you have ‘double opt in’ enabled on your list those subscribers are being added to when they submit the form.

 

If you go to the list they are subscribing to, then click on settings > consent. There is an option here to change the opt in to ‘single opt in’
