Hello fellow Klaviyo users, I have created a pretty complex flow on Klaviyo based on several triggers like “x times purchased”, “x product purchased while being a customer for so long” etc. I wanted to test the flow somehow before taking it live. Is there a way to do this? Or can I test it on a limited audience before turning it on  for everyone? I don’t want to change the logic by creating a test segment as that would beat the purpose of having a flow.

Yes, you can create test profiles with specific characteristics in Klaviyo! You can:

  1. Manually add custom properties (e.g., subscription_duration or last_purchase_date).
  2. Simulate events like purchases to match flow conditions.
  3. Create a segment with your criteria and add test profiles to it.

Let me know if you’d like help setting this up!

You can test your flow by creating a manual list with test profiles that match your flow’s conditions. Then, use the Manual Add to Flow Trigger feature to simulate the flow without altering its logic. This allows you to see how the flow performs before going live.

Thank you for the response, I just wanted to confirm if it is possible to create test profiles which certain characteristics like subscribed for “x amount of months” or “purchased in the last 30 days” and so on?
