I am trying to set up the added to cart metric on a clients store. He told me this is not possible t add the snippet with woocommerce, but I feel like there has to be a way. Does anyone know how to do this?

The Woocommerce integration is very basic and straightforward. If your client is saying it’s not possible, either:

  1. he’s not very good at running a WC site and should seek technical support
  2. he has an extremely sophisticated code-base and adding new snippets would break other functionalities (though, I don’t see how that would be possible).

I would find out which one it is and go from there.

Do you have any directions on how to set this up? I don't think the code is too sophisticated

Klaviyo already has extensive documentation on the integration. Just search their help library.

Hey @jackburk,

Adding to @DavidSandel’s point, you can set up a custom “Add to Cart” event/metric for WooCommerce by leveraging Klaviyo’s Javascript Track API. You can find other resources that may prove helpful in creating this custom event from the articles Klaviyo offers below:

Hope this helps!
