If you want to ensure that users signing up within 3 weeks of their birthday still receive the second reminder in your birthday flow, even if they missed the first one, you can set up an additional email in your flow to catch these users.
You can set up a conditional split in your flow after the first email, with one branch for users who opened the first email and another branch for users who did not. The branch for users who did not open the first email can lead to a new email that includes the same content as the second reminder email but with a different subject line and introduction to acknowledge that it is the first email they are receiving.
Alternatively, you can set up a separate flow that targets users who sign up within 3 weeks of their birthday and includes both the first and second reminder emails. You can use a different trigger for this flow, such as a "recently joined" segment or a "first-time buyers" segment, to ensure that it only targets users who sign up within the 3-week window.
Whichever method you choose, make sure to test your flow thoroughly to ensure that all users receive the correct emails at the appropriate times.
