Why are emails from my signup form not added to my Newsletter list?

Hi there, I am looking for help on this same issue.

 

I can see that some of the answers are from a few years ago, and there haven been updates to both Shopify and Klaviyo.

 

I can’t get the email sign up form on my website to be added automatically to my Newsletter list, which would trigger the Welcome Series email flow.

 

I can see that the profiles are being created in Klaviyo, so I know the connection is working, but for some reason these subscribers aren’t being added to my Newletter list. Can someone please help me with this issue.

Thank you for sharing your question with the community. 
Can you check if you have double opt-in checked for your newsletter list?

 

If you do have that selected, then it can be one reason why people who don’t confirm their subscription after signing up are not added. 

 

Having double opt-in is recommended so you don’t need to make any changes.

No, I don’t have double opt-in turned on, and it is still not working.

 

I have looked at so many similar posts in this community, and it seems like there is no straightforward answer. I wish this integration between the standard sign-up form from Shopify to Klaviyo’s lists was more seamless. Any other helpful advice would be very welcomed. Thank you!
