From what I’ve noticed, many ecom store owners REALLY care about their email designs more than what results the same email brings.

And I’m kind of curious why that is, because tests show that simpler designs almost always perform better than some funky, complex designs.

So I’m curious what the Klaviyo community has to say about this.

If you have a store, please comment down below your thoughts and let me know how much exactly you care about the designs of your emails

Did this topic or the replies in the thread help you find an answer to your question?

Hi Vlad,

I think you raise an interesting topic about email design here. The reality is that all brands and consumers are different. This leads me to believe that there is no right answer to your question. What email design truly boils down to is this: Does it work for your brand?

And the only real way to answer that question is to test. Marketers should feel empowered to A/B test design elements such as a hero image, CTA positioning, and product blocks. Making business decisions based on data-backed evidence is far superior to calling shots on a whim.
