"My product requires sending a sample design to the customer after they place an order for them to review and make edits. Is there any direct 'variable event' that can send our trial product into an email? We design the sample product using an external web, so each time there's a design, we have to manually send it to each customer.P.s. I noticed a new feature called "webhook". What can I do with it?Thank you very much."

Django experts - need your help!

Hi guys, This is for the Order Confirmation email (Shopify). My goal is to use the FOR loop and loop through all the items in the order and check item.variant_title. - If at least one variant_title has any of the following words: 'ebook', 'e-book' etc - display message A. - If none of variant_titles has any of those words, display message B.   Important: this has to display only one message - A or B, no matter how many items are in the order. But NOT one message per every line item. Calculating a future date using an Event Trigger Date

Hi everyoneStill learning my ropes around Klaviyo and the dynamic variables. I found an article that allows you to calculate a future date using the “today” syntax, however does anyone know if it’s possible to calculate a future date using an event trigger property? I assumed that by adding the ‘days_later:XX’ filter, this would have made this possible, but it’s throwing an error. Variable Code: {{ event.Invoice_Date|days_later:90|format_date_string|date:'d F o'|default:'' }}Scenario: Wanted to communicate to customers payment due dates based on their order invoice date. Any suggestions and guidance would be highly appreciated!

How do I edit the currency in the price drop module?

Hi Klaviyo Community, I have created a price drop flow and set it to manual status, when I review the mail everything looks perfect except for one thing, it shows the wrong currency (dollars) I need to change this to Danish Krones (kr.).  I know this happens because I copied the module from Klaviyo’s price drop template.  FYI: the rest of the mail is showing the right currency (kr.) as the account settings is set to Danish Krones (so it’s not that).

Creating Templates with Dynamic Content

Hi all hoping someone can help with a question about creating content blocks with dynamic text and why it always shows up different when I send to myself? I am trying to create some blocks with an image directly across from live text with a table spilt 50/50 and when I preview in klaviyo it looks perfect, but when I send to my email inbox it looks completely different. I understand this may be due to the mail system used, I have tried on a couple and they both have been distorted. Does anyone know how to make sure your templates look seamless across all platforms?  I have attached the block as seen in klaviyo and then as seen in email browser.

Any way to "click and copy" discount code from an email?

Hi all,A client wants to allow customers to “click and copy” the Klaviyo discount code to their clipboard and be taken to the cart to “paste” that code into the coupon field.  I guess they’re trying to make it easier for a customer to use the coupon code, but I’m not sure how this can be done in Klaviyo email.

Insert property variable in text block shows quotes and brackets within emails

Hi,I am using the results of a quiz to customize an email. I am able to retrieve the quiz data using property variables. But when the email gets sent, the variables show up with square brackets and quotes as shown below. Order confirmation email customization - syntax error

Hello, i wanted to customize the order confirmation email a bit and to do so, i used the email template provided by klaviyo. I want to show the order total in a different way (discount code, subtotal etc. on the far left, and the actual numbers on the far right) so I created a new static table of 2 columns and i copy pasted the part of the code that interests me in each cell. I attach a screenshot to show you what it looks like now. The issue is that it says there is a syntax error and I can’t find it. Help please Thank you

Margins/Spacers between table blocks

HiI’ve created a block using 2 columns with tables within each. What I want is two columns with an image and text underneath but I want a vertical space between the two columns . I’m almost there but can’t separate the two - see image below. I want to add some vertical white  space between these 2 elements It would be possible to do if the background of the table was white using padding but I’m using that blue colour as the background. So if I insert padding the space between is blue whereas I need it to be white.I feel like I’m missing something obvious here but let me know what you guys think.ThanksSean

Function libraries for email templates?

Is there a way to maintain libraries of our own functions for use in the email templates?“Don’t Repeat Yourself” (DRY) is an important programming principle, but our templates are built with a lot of cut-and-paste snippets.For example, we frequently use:{{ person|lookup:"VehicleModel"|default:'ride' }}...to say things like “new items for your Toyota Tundra”. This is sprinkled through a great many templates.The right way to do this is with a function, something like:def getVehicle(person)  # return person|lookup:"VehicleModel"|default:'ride'  person.fetch("VehicleModel", "ride")end...and then just{{ getVehicle(person) }}in the template itself.  It’s short, simple, reusable.is this syntax, or something like it, possible? Ruby, Python, Javascript - I don’t care which, any reasonable language will do. And can functions be placed into a file to be shared and reused across all our templates?

Day and month in Danish

How to dinamically display payment date and add specific dates to it?

I’m trying to build a payment timeline for a product, some sort of an installment timeline.  I need to do this automatically, so when the user enters the Thank you funnel, they receive an email showing a payment timeline. e.x.Installment Number Due Date Payment Status 1st installment ?????? Due Today 2nd installment ????? Pending  The due date needs to be the placed order date + 30 days for the first installment, and  the placed order date +60 days for the second installment. The placed order is the first time they opted for the service. I tried using different variables, but none displayed the placed order date and function properly. Something I used but this is relative to the date I send the email not the date someone placed the order  {% today '%Y-%m-%d' as today %} {{ today|days_later:60|format_date_string|date:'M d' }} Is there a variable structure that I am missing?

How Does A Free Shipping Dynamic Coupon Code Work?

Hey! I am just a little confused as to how these Free Shipping codes work in Klaviyo. It’s asking me to input a Max Shipping Rate, and I need clarification as to how Klaviyo and Shopify know how much to discount when the person is at checkout?Does that make sense?What makes sense to me is that somehow Klaviyo knows to tell Shopify to discount the shipping on any order that’s less than my Max Shipping Rate. But I just want to make sure!

SMS + Email Welcome Series Best Practices

Hi community! I looked but couldn’t find a best practice guide showing how to combine SMS & Email for the initial message of a Welcome Series campaign.For example, should there be a flow for SMS and a flow for Email, or should the SMS message be added to the existing Welcome email flow? If they are separate flows, will the customer receive the same unique one-time use coupon code in both delivery methods?Thanks in advance!-Bill

Why is the 'edit image' feature gone from the template editor?

I’m wondering why the Klaviyo team has decided to remove the edit image feature from the template editor?  I relied heavily on that feature to edit images down to a lower file size and add rounded corners — my whole process revolved around this feature and it’s disrupted the whole end of week for my output.Have you done this to cut down on the server space required to resize & edit images? I just can’t see the value in removing every edit option except for “Crop”.

Feature Request: better auto-formatting of bullet points of copy-pasted text from Google Docs

We draft all our emails in Google Docs and port over the content into Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop editor.The main issue we have is with bullet points. On every single email, we need to perform these steps at least once. It’s definitely a pain and something that could be automated.I am aware of other recommendations to clean out formatting to give yourself a clean slate, but that takes even more time, because we then need to re-create all my hyperlinks and formatting again.It seems like Klaviyo is able to understand Google Docs formatting pretty well overall, so could we just make it automatically add the padding to bullet point lists as in the linked steps above ?

Automatically applying WooCommerce coupons

Hey, I’m trying to add a link to my abandoned cart and checkout flows that automatically applies a coupon code on the click of a link. Is this possible?  I’ve tried:{{ organization.url }}/?wt_coupon/{% coupon_code 'CouponName' %}/cart?wck_rebuild_cart={{ event.extra.CartRebuildKey }}{{ organization.url }}/discount/{% coupon_code 'CouponName' %}/cart?wck_rebuild_cart={{ event.extra.CartRebuildKey }} When I click on the link it takes me to the site on a 404 page and it reads that the coupon code couldn’t be found, despite making it within Wordpress/WooCommerce?  Can you see where I’m going wrong? Thank you :)

How to set up dynamic expiration date coupons with prestashop

Hello,I would like to set up dynamic expiration date for coupons un Prestashop. For example coupon will expire after 1 week after been sending.I don’t see any parameters to set dynamic expiration in Klaviyo X Prestashop. I saw i was possible on Shopify, I would like to set the same behavior as Shopify an be able to select an expiration date “after a certain number of days/hours. Thanks for your help !! Léa

Show/hide logic not working

Hi, I’m trying to use show/hide logic with an abandoned cart sequence, as for a certain SKU the price is displaying as zero, so I’d like to hide the price when the added item event data is for this SKU. Whatever logic I enter it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve tried:person|lookup:'event.AddedItemProductID' != '10495' not person|lookup:'event.AddedItemProductID' == '10495' person|lookup:'event.AddedItemProductID' == '10495' not person|lookup:'event.AddedItemSKU' == '114e' person|lookup:'event.AddedItemSKU' == '114e'  Am I doing something obviously wrong?  Thanks.

HTML templates and Drag/drp builder - since CSS is not working on the new builder

Hi everyone,  Any suggestions on what to do with custom CSS on klaviyo’s new builder? I really need the custom CSS feature integrated soon into email editor. It used to work on the previous builder but ever since I updated the platform it does not work anymore and is making it a nightmare to redesign email templates or at least make them responsive and weigh less than 100kb. Code is super bloated as is on the new builder. Does anyone have a workaround this? I’ve tried copying and pasting a template’s HTML code into dreamweaver > added some custom CSS and imported back into templates. But! when I try to use that template into the drag and drop builder it takes me right back to the HTML code editor. I’ve been following these steps and can’t seem to make it work: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005254188 *Also I’ve tried adding custom CSS to the text block and it only affects one of the elements of the template, so I don’t know what to do and we have a bunch of emails we
