Hi there

I have been desperately been trying to work out a way to keep an email in it’s normal colours in Dark Mode on Gmail - as the client specifically requires the email to remain in these brand colours (as it is a collection launch)

I have tried to following this LINK HERE

Which goes through the setup and logic

However after a couple of hours of trial and error, I cannot for the life of me work out how to implement this into Klaviyo….

Has anybody had experience for integrating this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I definitely do not want to go down the route of turning all the content into images if I can avoid it…
Especially as I know that will probably remove any of the possible product links with Shopify

Thanks
M

Unfortunately, you will have to use all images if you want your designs to be consistent. If you are using Figma to design your emails, there is a feature to turn your designs into HTML. I haven’t tried it though. But maybe it’s something you want to look into.

Ah I was fearing this…
Especially as Klaviyo does not support SVGs to keep asset file size low, I am probably just going to accept the email will be clipped due to bloated content for desktop and mobile

@Monty_3540 - Just a side note here, the clipping of emails is not based on the image file sizes, but the amount of HTML/Text is in your email.   You can simply verify this by uploading a 5MB image and see that it doesn’t add to the clipping size when you preview the email.

Every “block” and “section” and inline html formatting adds to the HTML size, so if you want to reduce clipping, see if you can optimize by using default styles and minimizing the number of blocks/sections and inline code.
