I wanted to confirm, what happens when you click on the link to display the images? Have you noticed this sort of link on both Outlook and Gmail?

Yes, when I click on it, it displays the message. Sorry unsure how it looks on Outlook. Was just told it happened on Outlook to someone

Thanks for the update! That would be expected behavior with the ESP (Email Service Provider) so unfortunately there isn’t any action that could be taken on our end to mitigate this. 

With that said, for Gmail, I found this Gmail help article here to turn on 'always show images' so you will not have to manually do it.

I would recommend adding alt-text for all images, incase a viewer does not have this setting on, so they can have context of what the image is. More information on images within Klaviyo can be found here.

However as you have mentioned that you are getting emails where you don't have to click on this, it is good to know that Gmail will automatically hide images if they do not know the sender's reputation. I’m upping this topic because I have the same issue and I would like to go further on the explanations. 

As I said, me and some of my clients I asked have the same issue with my emails sent with Klaviyo. As far as I know, I never had the same issue with any emails that I received from various senders. That was the very first time I encountered this “Display images below” button.

That make me that isn’t only a matter of ESP and that I might do something on my side.
Could it be something related to my domain ? 

I would appreciate understanding why I have this issue because that’s the last thing that stop me from upgrade my plan.

Hi, thanks for commenting again. I am about to start using Klaviyo again after not needing for a while and I was hoping that this issue had been solve a year down the track. It saddens to hear that this is still happening. Hopefully we will get some answers.
