Is it possible to create tiered discounting in campaigns, not in flows?
Is there a way to have Klaviyo clean up the coupon codes (delete or archive) on the Shopify end once the coupons are used?
@gdikel Thanks for the question!
As long as your e-commerce store is integrated with Klaviyo, you have the ability to create segments based on a customer’s buying habits. If your tiers are based on dollar amount spent, you can create various segments based on each tier and then send campaigns to the respective segments each with the right discount code. For example, you can create a segment of people who have spent $100 and create a coupon code for those people and reference that coupon code in that campaign. You can then do the same for $500, $1000, etc.
This doesn’t have to be limited to dollar amount spent. You can also do this based on number of purchases or loyalty tier (if you’re using a loyalty platform).
@CRC Thank you for your question! Could you explain more about when that scenario may come up so we can best try to answer that question? If you create your static coupons in Shopify, you’ll manage those in Shopify.
If you create your unique coupon codes in Klaviyo, you will be able to see in Klaviyo when all of these dynamic codes have been used up. You won’t need to clean up or archive anything in Shopify. Let me know if you have further questions on this, and we’d be happy to delve in deeper!
@Emily Shea Sure. So it seems that if you create a bunch of unique coupon codes, Shopify’s “coupons” section can get pretty congested with a bunch of one time use codes. Is that the case? If so, is there a way to clear out all the unique one time use (already used codes)?
Please let me know if I clarified anything or confused you further.
