Without needing any custom HTML, is there a way to resize an image within a column section (2 columns, split 30/70 image/text)? When it stacks on mobile, the image is too large.
The other option is to not have it stack on mobile, but the alignment is off and the image is too small, and top left justified.

without looking at an example of what you're trying to accomplish it's a bit difficult. In certain cases it is just not possible to accomplish what you want and you need to go a somewhat custom route.
What you're mentioning sounds to me like on desktop it's looking fine but on mobile (smaller) the block is stacked which is causing the image to be full width? Is that correct?
If so you could try using a table or something that does not stack or use Display options to control visibility and have 2 blocks. One for mobile and one for desktop.
