Currently we have coupons being created in Woocommerce daily from Klaviyo. We set the daily minimum to 25, what happens if we have 30 visitors one day that need a coupon code, but only 25 are created? How does Klaviyo handle these situations? Is there a way that Klaviyo can generate the coupons as they need it instead of having to set a daily minimum amount to create? Thank you
Hey
When using Klaviyo to distribute coupons generated in WooCommerce, the typical setup involves syncing a pool of pre-created coupons from WooCommerce to Klaviyo. If the daily minimum of coupons is set to 25 but 30 visitors need a coupon code, Klaviyo would run out of coupons and the remaining 5 visitors would not receive a coupon code until more coupons are generated and synced.
If Klaviyo runs out of available coupons because more people request them than there are coupons available, the following may happen:
-
No Coupon Sent: Klaviyo will not be able to send a coupon to any visitor who triggers an email or flow that requires a coupon if there are no available codes left in the pool.
-
Flow Pauses or Errors: If you are using a flow in Klaviyo that depends on sending a coupon and there are no coupons left, the flow may pause or produce an error, depending on how it's configured. This could result in incomplete or missing emails.
If you frequently find yourself running out of coupons, consider increasing the daily minimum from 25 to a higher number to accommodate spikes in demand.
I hope this helps and thank you for being part of this amazing community
Cheers,
Arpit
Would an email still send if a coupon isn’t available? or will the email not send at all?
It will skip the email, so no email will be sent
