My welcome email looks perfect on desktop but on mobile the colors are wrong. What should be white is black and there is a strange brownish color that shouldn’t be there at all. I have gone over and over it and cannot see what’s making this happen.

Do you mind sharing what browser or app you were in when viewing the email on your phone and desktop? Is it possible that whoever was viewing the email on their phone had dark mode enabled? Screenshots would be helpful as well!

The desktop is Chrome and looms great, the mobile is Android and looks terrible. Yes, dark mode is probably the issue. Sad - because dark mode is popular!!

I agree it is popular! I would check out our helpful documentation on tips and tricks to navigate dark mode! Additionally, when it comes to knowing how your email will render in an inbox before it’s sent, email preview services like Litmus or Email on Acid are helpful tools to see what your emails would look like on different platforms!
