Hi,

Is there any difference between those two platforms regarding capacity of data of customers behavior which could be collected ? :/

Any restrictions for WooCommerce ?

Hey @steam365! Thanks for asking. WooCommerce and Shopify integrations both share very similar information with Klaviyo, though some data may be named differently based on each platforms naming conventions (for example a group of products is called a category in WooCommerce and a collection in Shopify). You can directly compare the data available within Klaviyo with our guides on WooCommerce Data and Shopify Data.

In terms of trackable events, the main differences are that Shopify will share events for cancelled orders and refunds as part of the prebuilt integration while WooCommerce does not; and WooCommerce will track viewed product events, whereas that will need to be set up separately for the Shopify integration.

However, you can create custom events for a WooCommerce integration to track cancelled and refunded orders as well. I’d recommend checking out our guide to integrating a standard ecommerce platform for more info.

Hope this helps!
