Hi Community!

I’m pleased to announce the winners of our Klaviyo AI Contest!

Congratulations to 1st place winner... 🏆🎉@Teri Lanier 🎉🏆!!!

@Teri Lanier takes home the $600 grand prize in gift cards with her excellent response to our prompt, where she explained how her and her team utilize the Segments AI, smart sending, and predictive analytics for their SMS audiences to drastically improve their overall send/conversion metrics:

About Teri:

Teri is a dedicated graphic designer at Viridian Bay, a family-owned B2C home and garden sculpture company of under 20 employees. She plays a crucial role in maintaining her brand's visual identity across various platforms, including social channels, website, and mailed catalogs.  At the start of this year, she spearheaded VB's transition to Klaviyo, following recommendations from their catalog strategist. This integration with Shopify has significantly enhanced her team's marketing capabilities, enabling them to craft more targeted and impactful campaigns.

Previously, Teri would not have considered herself to be someone who would contribute to a marketing department. After a few months with Klaviyo, she embraces that job description with pride! Lately, she has been experimenting with some fun segmentation using the AI tool, in order to put very niche product emails in front of the right audience.

Did you catch that word "fun"? Teri told us that she didn't know marketing tools would be this exciting when she first discovered Klaviyo as a graphic designer. She was just happy with the universal content possibility.

She loves working alongside her two talented colleagues; together they form the core of Viridian Bay's marketing team. Small but mighty, they are also responsible for numerous creative duties, product development, and customer service deadlines. Webinars that invite guest speakers have reinvigorated their strategy, making them eager to explore more innovative ideas, and continually elevate our marketing efforts. It feels low-risk to try new things because they have Klaviyo's AI helping them pick the right audience. In just a few months, their deliverability is up, Teri’s time spent futzing with design is down (love that integration with Shopify!), and she continues to add new skills every month.

Teri also does freelance design; she is currently working on a client's Squarespace site and logo design. You can find Teri here:

An additional shoutout belongs to the 2nd and 3rd place winners, Lauren Barrett and @JessicaL!

Lauren used Klaviyo's Predicted Customer Lifetime Value metric to create a segment of VIP customers for their product launches, and @JessicaL used the Segments AI to duplicate or clone conditions across segments when defining by different SKUs.

Hats off to both of them for showing off their creative AI use cases!

If you have questions about Klaviyo AI or would like to show off your own creative AI use case, just head on over to the Klaviyo AI community category and join the conversation!

Thank you so much!

Congrats, @Teri Lanier and @JessicaL🎉
