After a potential customer has signed up for the newsletter pop up does that email address go into "all subscribers" list automatically as well? Or do I need to transfer those manually?

It depends how do you have your integration set up..

Usually when you set up your integration with the eCommerce store you pick one list where all subscribers should go. If you set that list as main then yes they will go there.

Also FYI if you left the list as single opt-in people will have to click on confirmation email before they are added to any list. (this option is set in the list settings)

To have a list (segment) of all subscribers you can create a segment with definition 

  • Person is not suppressed for email
