The emails of a few of my key customers (subscribers) was recently changed as their companies were taken over by other companies. 

What would be the best way to manage this change in email ? Create a new user (or) just replace existing email with new email ?

Any precautions to be taken while doing these changes ? (like taking a backup of previous campaign results etc.)

When you open the customer's profile you can click on the 'Edit' button on the 'Contact' section, which is in the right side of the page. Once you have the profile open, click on the person's email address and you can then edit and update the profile.

Klaviyo will record events for the email address provided. If a customer changes their email address, the new address will appear as a new profile in your account. If you are aware of the change in email address, you do have the ability to merge the accounts.
