Welcome to the community @ms12345
I don’t have any experinece with Zenoti but I’ll try to help.
Are you saying that you don’t see the Zenoti event metric as an option in the segment conditions? If that’s working OK (and has been fired at least once) you should be able to see it listed in https://www.klaviyo.com/analytics/metrics (you may have to adjust the timeframe). If so, you can navigate deeper by clicking on that Zenoti event and then ‘Activity feed’ to see profiles who have triggered that event.
From a sample profile’s events, if you filter for the Zenoti event and then click the elipses next to it, then ‘Activity details you should see what event details are being passed. If there’s no order value in there then you’ll be able to segment by Zenoti events but not by any value associated with that event.
Hope that helps
Andy
Hi Andy,
I do see the Zenoti event metric’s firing and am having no problem with that.
The issue lies is that I want to be able to have a combined metric that has a total combined value of say $3000, when adding the Zenoti invoice value and Shopify order value together. From there I want to be able to create a segment based on that.
I have created this metric in the analytics section but it doesnt carry over to segments.
Hi @ms12345, I see what you’re saying. You created a “Custom Conversion Metric” and want to use it in Segments.
Unfortunately, I tried to do the same and realize that those Custom Conversion Metrics are not available for Segmentation - as the documentation states some of its Reporting use cases:
Instead of a “Custom Conversion Metric” - the only option I can see is that you create your own custom metric that is sent whenever a Shopify OR Zenoti revenue event is sent. This requires technical implementation, but you can create a Flow webhook on either of those two events (that fires the new custom event).
Or, you can create your own middleware layer or third party tool (like Zapier, Make.com) and handle the webhook (or event directly via the API) and then send in a custom metric to Klaviyo. A third possibility is the upcoming (beta) feature called Code Action, which might be an option down the road, though this is still in beta as far as I know.
