Hii there. At this moment I would like to know if there is a way to be subscribed to my client’s email list, without my behavior affecting analytics, such as CTR and open rate??

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi @mariana,

Thank you for your post!

Unfortunately there is no way to exclude yourself from these metrics. If the list size is large enough, the impact here should be pretty minimal (with 1,000 subscribers you would impact the numbers by 0.1%).

I would recommend (if you aren’t already) limiting this to one email address, especially if your list size is small.

Hope that helps!

Thanks
David

Hi there @mariana

Thanks for sharing your question with us!

@DavidV is completely right!

While there isn't a way at this time to exclude certain email addresses, segments, lists etc from reporting, I can definitely understand wanting to exclude yourself from analytics for your client. I have submitted this as a feature request on your behalf!

As it stands now, the only way to exclude a user from showing within the analytics would be to delete the user. I’m sorry we don’t have a quick fix at the moment!
