Segmenting with Collections

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

Hi there,

I’ve just run into an issue with segmenting by collections, one that I haven’t come across before. We’re integrated with Shopify and usually segment our audience by purchasing habits - so by collections/categories. However, I’ve noticed today that while all of our Shopify collections are listed as an option to filter by, there are also collections titled ‘collections:name’ which don’t exist in our own Shopify backend. After testing these, the ‘collection’ titles pull the incorrect data. Can anyone shed some light on what these extra collections are/why they exist?
Thank you.

@Shiv_Siobhan - Did you previously migrate from another ecommerce platform to Shopify?  The Collections:Name pattern seem to match how Magento passes that in if I recall correctly.

@Shiv_Siobhan also curious about what Joseph mentioned, but I do think this is odd behavior. I’m checking with the Klaviyo team to see if there’s any additional feedback or insight on why this might be happening.
