Hi

We are new to Klayvio and CRM and Email management- we have previously used Google contacts + YAMM (yet another mail merge) to email clients.

We use Tags in Google contacts to manage segments  (location, vip etc).

Any advice for importing these contacts here?

Hi @VIAJIYU ,

Welcome to Klaviyo and hope to provide some info on where to get started with importing your segment data!

At this time, we do not have a pre-built integration with Google Contacts. However, adding a Custom Integration is possible via our API.

In addition, you should be able to import contacts from your google integration! As long as the data is formatted in the proper way along with it being in a .CSV you can upload it as a new list or add it to an existing list. This article here may answer further questions and offer instructions on how to properly format your data: Create and Add Contacts to a List.

Also, check to make sure that your CSV aligns with Klaviyo’s formatting requirements. If you have not already, head to our documentation on formatting your data. For example, one of the required fields is for email addresses. This must be the first field listed in your upload with a title containing either "Email" or "Email Address."

This link contains many ways to troubleshoot CSV list imports: How to Troubleshoot List Imports

Please let me know if you have further questions!

Alex
