My account has suddenly grown by nearly 6,000 new subscribers. It is being spammed by foreign email addresses, mostly Russian. Every minute there are hundreds being added.
Can you please tell me how to:
Stop them from subscribing?
Remove all the fake subscribers quickly, eg. by country, without removing the genuine subscribers?
Thank you so much for your help.
Kind regards, Sarah.

Hi Sarah, I hope you’re doing well.
What do these email addresses look like? Can you send me some examples?
Thank you, Tom
Hi @SarahRB,
Thanks for sharing this with us and thank you @Tomb for your contribution.
@SarahRB, your best bet to stop them from subscribing is to set up Google reCAPTCHA to protect your site from spam and bots. Also, ensuring you’re using double opt-in for your Klaviyo lists.
In terms of removing them, you’ll want to create a segment based on a commonality in these bots’ information i.e. a common component of their email address like .ru. or the domain like @xyz.com
Something like the following:
Once you have the segment created, bulk-suppress these users (that will remove them from your active profile count).
After actioning the bulk suppression, I would continue to monitor the situation and contact our support team if you have further concerns on this matter.
