I recently integrated MailChimp with Klaviyo and the over 50k profiles within MailChimp. Most of these profiles are emails that should have been cleaned out of the list. We only need about 20k of the actual list, and don’t want to be charged for having all of these unnecessary profiles.

Is there a way to get the list of active profiles down to our necessary 20k without being charged for the “dead weight” profiles?

Hello @824digitalmarketing,

Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!

Did you by chance integrate your ecommerce integration with Klaviyo prior to integrating MailChimp? If so, then this sounds like the behavior mentioned in our How to migrate from Mailchimp Help Center article under the Review your Mailchimp data section.

I would advise going through and cleaning your list again and suppressing those profiles who are considered unengaged. Profiles that are suppressed are not counted towards your monthly payment plan limits.

I hope this helps!

David
