Hello everyone!

I have a list and I’m trying to see the people who joined the list during 2-15.9.
So I’m creating a segment.
But there are 2 ways to create this segment:

1️⃣ “If someone is in or not in a list” → “MY LIST” → “was added” between dates 2-15.9.
➡️ I get 2321 people.

2️⃣ “What someone has done (or not done) → subscribed to a list / at least once / between dates 2-15.9. → where list equals “MY LIST”
➡️ I get 2552 people.

Why do I get a different amount?
The amounts should be the same but they’re not.

Which one is more accurate?
Thank you:)

@nofearyeslove Heyo! This is a fabulous question that had me scratching my head for a hot second. Here is my gut reaction, and you can confirm for me:

The first segment is looking at the subscribe status and would NOT include currently suppressed or unsubscribed profiles, even if they were added between those dates because they aren't technically in the list anymore. The second segment is looking at the subscribe event which would include currently unsubscribed/suppressed profiles.

You can confirm this by thumbing through the segment for suppressed/unsubscribed profiles.
