We do a lot of collaborating with our affiliates. They create reels then collab with us. Will this auto-reply work with this type of reel?

I have a question: if the person trying to register has already a Klaviyo profile, what happens? Do they get a message saying they are already receiving our emails and texts? What properties will we see for that profile?

We do a lot of collaborating with our affiliates. They create reels then collab with us. Will this auto-reply work with this type of reel?

Hi as long as your account creates the reel and then invites your affiliate to collab on it, then the auto-reply will work and can DM someone who comments on that reel. But if the affiliate creates the reel and then invites your brand to collab, unfortunately that wouldn’t work. Just a limitation on how the Meta APIs work.

I have a question: if the person trying to register has already a Klaviyo profile, what happens? Do they get a message saying they are already receiving our emails and texts? What properties will we see for that profile?

They’ll have the same experience as an Instagram User that isn’t already in your list, and instead of the auto-reply creating a new subscriber in your account, it will update that existing profile with their Instagram properties now

And just to be clear if this preexisting profile has been through the Welcome flow, the interaction with the IG signup form will not make them go through again. I just need to map what will happen with this type of users. If I offer a discount for signing up it has to be a new discount that everyine can use. Do you send the code by email or just place it on the thank you DM?

Depends on your flow trigger settings but if the welcome flow is triggered by someone joining the newsletter list and the auto-reply is connected to the same newsletter list they are already in, then they will not be re-added to that list and therefor wouldn’t receive the flow again. Does that answer your question?

Hi, can i create a segment with contacts that have signed up via Social DM? How do i do it? Right now I have a segment set up that uses the property InstagramUser is set but that doesn’t show up how many new contacts i got from Social, since it includes my pre-existing contacts that has this property updated.
