Black Friday and Cyber Monday are around the corner, and we're excited to see your creativity in action! One of this year's challenges is all about supercharging your email & SMS list growth.

Challenge: Quick Win for List Growth

Objective: Share your best tips and strategies for rapid email & SMS list growth. 

How to Participate:

  1. Think: Reflect on your experience and consider a unique, quick, actionable tip or strategy that has helped you grow your email & SMS list rapidly.
  2. Share: Post your strategy in the comments below. It could be a pop-up idea, a social media strategy, an incentive or discount for sign-ups, or any other quick win.
  3. Engage: Read through other members' tips and give a thumbs up to the ones you find most valuable. Feel free to ask questions and start discussions!

Prize: The top 3 strategies from each challenge with the most engagement (likes) will be evaluated to win a $150 gift card from a Klaviyo Customer! Terms and conditions apply.

Example:

"Use a limited-time pop-up offering a special Black Friday discount code for new sign-ups. Make sure the pop-up appears after 5 seconds on your homepage. This has helped drive an increase of X percent of list growth."

 

Create an early-access website pop-up incentivizing BFCM discount. Send product-focused educational emails 1-2x week to email subscribers from this pop-up. Increased educational & frequency of emails will help drive 125% YoY BFCM growth.


Top Tip: Change your pop-up frequently to get more people to sign up. Rotating through a discount code, early access to a new collection or a Giveaway of a (example) $200 Gift Card, encourages more people to sign up if it’s always something new, changing, and fun every time they come back to your website. Make sure you follow through on the promotion, and sending out a runner up email also is a great way to drive conversion (example there’s one $200 Gift card winner, but everyone else who signed up for emails during this promo will receive a 15% discount as their runner up prize).

Encourage current subscribers to refer friends by offering them a reward for every successful sign-up. This not only grows your list but also leverages word-of-mouth and collaborate with other businesses or influencers to reach a wider audience.

Use a special BF themed popup with a discount offer better than your competitors in the region with CTA mentioning that they will be also joining a VIP list with exclusive BF coupons. Use a custom welcome flow emails for this popup showing BF sales along with welcome coupon.
