Dear Klaviyo-Team,

we have a highly customized Shop and I was wondering whether it is possible to show different newsletter sign up forms depending on the site language displayed.

In a different thread (here) there was a solution suggested to depend the sign-up form on whether there is an e.g. “FR” or “DE” or “EN” in the URL. This will not work for us, because we use the App weglot to translate the page and there are no language-tags in our URL, they are the same independend of the language.

How could we solve this?

Many thanks in advance,

Christian

Hi @Christian has Questions

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your question!

Yes, that solution would work for others. However with translation apps, accomplishing this is dependent on the app  are using, aka Weglot. Since we don’t have a native integration with Weglot, it is difficult for us to know this specific website’s behavior. This would be a question best consulted with Weglot’s support to get a better understanding of how the app translates the page and whether a form would be affected by that action as well. Technically speaking, when you build a signup form in one language and it wouldn’t change unless some CSS overrode it.
