Hello!  My sister is using her email and phone number to test the functionality of the Welcome Flow (with discount coupon) and general subscription signup on the bottom of our Shopify store.

Re email: she received the Welcome Coupon FIRST, before receiving the double opt-in confirmation email...shouldn’t this be reversed because she had technically not confirmed before receiving the marketing email?

Re SMS: the order of operations was correct. She received the double opt-in text. She responded YES and then received the Welcome Coupon text.

Do you mind confirming if both the SMS and email form are connected to the same list and that your email list is set to double-opt-in?

Thanks for your response.  Yes, both forms are connected to the same list (not segment) and double opt-in has been enabled.
